Webhooks are a means of adding extra processing to an item after it has been edited.
Edditt can post data to a URL once it’s been inserted into your database; facilitating additional functionality in Edditt. Examples of functionality that might be introduced through a webhook are: auto–generation of a PDF; or, revising a last–updated timestamp for the site.
Webhooks are available to every module type in Edditt and further information is available in that section.
